Platinum group metals miner miner Royal Bafokeng Platinum (RBPlat) has prolonged Rotshidzwa Manenzhe’s appointment as interim CFO till the top of December, the JSE-listed firm reported on Monday.
This comes because the long-stop date for the fulfilment of situations regarding Impala Platinum’s (Implats’) obligatory supply course of for RBPlat had been prolonged to November 22.
Manenzhe was appointed interim CFO on April 3 for a six-month interval.
“As a result of ongoing Implats supply, the board has determined to pause the appointment of a full-time CFO and government director till the conclusion of the Implats supply and the board has readability on the route of the corporate,” RBPlat stated in a press release.
Implats stated on September 19 that it held a 40.11% curiosity in RBPlat.
