Sayona will get last allow to renew NAL operations in Canada

Lithium developer Sayona Mining has acquired the ultimate allow for restarting operations on the North American Lithiu (NAL), an open pit mining and spodumene focus operation, close to Val-d’Or, Quebec, Canada.

The allow has been issued by the Canada’s Division of Fisheries and Oceans.

Sayona Mining owns a 75% stake in Sayona Quebec , which owns NAL, whereas Piedmont Lithium (PLL) owns the remaining 25%.

Sayona Québec CEO Man Laliberté stated: “International demand for lithium is growing weekly and it’s important that NAL go into manufacturing to assist fulfill this demand.”

With the newest approval, the companions will transfer forward with the deliberate recommencement of manufacturing at NAL within the first quarter of 2023.
